Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship 2026 Garena Qualifier: Teams Compete for Mexico City Spots

Format Breakdown

Six teams enter the Group Stage directly; the remaining four open their campaigns in the Play-In Stage. The Play-In uses a double-elimination Best-of-Five bracket to produce the final two Group Stage berths. The Group Stage itself is a single round-robin Bo5 — every team faces each opponent once — and only the top four advance to the Playoffs.

The Playoffs run as a double-elimination bracket. Every match is Bo5 except the Grand Final, which extends to a Best-of-Seven. No upper-bracket advantage applies — the title is decided in a single winner-takes-all series. Both Mexico City berths come out of that final playoff bracket, meaning the region sends exactly two representatives to the World Championship.

Who Qualified

The Singapore, Malaysia, and Philippines region sends Rival Esports, ELEVATE, Alula SC, and Vizualz SKAERI. The Play-In field features EL Tantrum, Rival Esports, Vizualz SKAERI, WUDAO, and Freeslot competing for the last two Group Stage positions.

Season 7 launches August 6 at 8AM GMT+8, headlined by the Terminator 2: Judgment Day collaboration. Players earn Cyberdyne Tech through daily tasks to unlock 15+ Epic-quality rewards, including weapon camos and the Blackjack — Endoskeleton Operator Skin.

The It Goes Two offer unlocks both T-800 and T-1000 Operator Skins. Acquiring both upgrades them from Epic to Legendary and enables form-switching in-match and in the lobby. Two Legendary Weapon Blueprints ship with reactive elements: HS0405 — Final Judgement and BP50 — Mimetic Execution. Garena servers also receive three exclusive in-game events inspired by regional supernatural folklore.

The Garena path is separate from India's COD Mobile qualifier track, but the format and stakes provide a reference point for how regional qualifiers feed global events.
